Garden Chandelier

This post about how you can create a garden chandelier out of a little bit of this,

and a little bit of that.

These look so pretty with tea lights lit at night, hanging on the porch or under the trees.

Showing my Patriotic Spirit

I thought I would share some pics of

Red - White - Blue

in my home.

On my blue front door, (with white trim), a red vintage mailbox that I use as a wall pocket to hold greenery.

There is nothing quite like a flag waving in the hot summer breeze.

Stars and Stripes

A metal white star hanging on the front siding on the front porch.

A row of red/white and blue/white plates on the plate rail in the dining room.

I didn't realize how many stars, red, white and blue I had in my home until I thought about doing a post for the Fourth of July.  Most of these items are up year round and I love them.  Do you use these patriotic items for decorating?

A New Look

YEAH!!!

I was contacted by someone that I admire very much to see if I would like some help with my blog.  I thought about it for about

1 second.

I am so excited!

"under construction".
