I want to share with you some photos of our space at Remnants.
Welcome!
Dresser, books, small farm table, swim locker baskets, old ceiling tile.
Lace bags on vintage orchard ladder.

Primitive cabinet stuffed full of old jars, ironstone, pottery bowls and wire baskets.

Industrial desk, vintage fan, old books.
Huge old map, white workbench/island, boxes, big farm table, bench, tool tote, chandelier.
Shabby black secretary hutch, french books, ironstone.
White pickets, old chest, vintage typewriter, chandelier, big pile of old books.
Vintage hankies on primitive ladder.
We draped the space with that beautiful raw silk that I have posted about titled Mysterious Package.
The chicken that stole the show, (yes, it's real!)  She decided that our space was her favorite and she settled right in amongst the items for sale.

We had a wonderful time and we can't wait for the Oct. 8th show.  Many thanks to Judy for all the hard work.

A Dream...

Yes, it's a dream.
We have been asked to be a part of The Remnants of The Past Show.
Several years ago I heard about this show and saw a few pictures.  I thought wouldn't it be fun to go to this show?  At this time I was not even a dealer.  It looked like a lot of fun and the mountains in the background reminded me of where my husband grew up.  Where is Nipomo anyway?  Well, It is just around the corner from San Luis Obispo.  No wonder the coastal mountains and hills looked familiar.
Earlier this year I had the priviledge of meeting Judy Watkins of Well... La de Da, the talented lady who puts on this show.

This last week we were invited.  Of course we said yes!

We know several of the other vendors and they are top notch.  This show is going to be so much fun.

When is it you ask?  It is Saturday the 30th of April, open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  It is to be held at the Dana-Powers Property, in Nipomo.

This show was featured in the April 2011 Country Living issue, with Rachel Ashwell, of Shabby Chic, saying it is one of her five favorite flea markets around the world.

Am I excited?  Yes.  Am I ready? No.  I still have a lot of work to do between now and April 30th.  Oh well, that is life.

Be sure to check out Judy's blog, she is introducing the vendors each day.
See you there?  Terry(one of the bricoleurs)
