Some Favorite pics from TVB

As I go around the store and take pics for this blog, sometimes I have favorites.  This last time I ended up with quite a few.  So you tell me what you think.  Are they some of your favorites too?

A pretty pink bird.

Wooden heart with black sand and vintage compact.

Old glove holder with vintage photos.

Pretty cameo necklace hanging on old books.

I love white starfish.
They are so fun to decorate with.

Don't they look great in this little wire birdcage?

This shabby table makes a great desk.

Here is a big urn filled with lace and rope.
(Most of these items happen to be Sandy's from The Olive and Rose.

These items may not last long.  Things around here change weekly, sometimes daily.
As more things come into the store though, it will give me a chance to try and get some more favorite pics.

Come on over to see more

So here is another post about new items and vignettes in the store.

This fun industrial cart is great!

Lots of pretty down-filled pillows to choose from.

Some fun items are on this shelf.  I love birds!

A pretty etagere holds lace and vintage law books from the early 1900's.

Cow bells!

I love these jars!
There is something about things with numbers on them.

How cute!  An Alice in Wonderland journal.

Another Randon Bits necklace.

More pics to come in the next post.  Come by to say Hello.
While you see what we have, stop in at the other shops too!

Jewelry Workshop Report

Last Thursday evening we held our Jewelry Workshop.
The class was full and it was very inspiring to see all the beautiful creations.

So you start out with this.

A few tools are required.

Start laying out what you think would look pretty.

And then put it together.

Each one was different.

Vintage buttons being put to good use.

Shell buttons look nice on this one.

This artist chose darker colors.

This necklace is a nice mix of dark and light.

Silver was the main theme here.

Look at the cute heart button pendant.

It was a relaxing way to spend the evening.

The feedback from this class was very positive.

Our next Workshop will be for
Vintage Valentines.

Cement @ TVB

We have some lovely cement pieces here at
The Vintage Bricoleur.

Can you see all the pretty detail?

This has been styled so beautifully.

Look at this handsome rooster.

And then there is the baby piglet asleep on his side.

Here is a frog painted a pretty shade of green.

A racoon would be fun to have in the garden............

I think I have shared this pig with you before.
He is still smiling inspite of a broken ear.  What a charmer!

Here is another frog a little bored with life.
Maybe he needs a new home.........

This little bird bath is so sweet!

Here is a larger bird bath all draped with moss.

New Year, New Look

We spent a good portion of the New Year day and the next, at the shop making room for a new dealer, taking down old December decorations and bringing in a lot of new items to make the shop look new again for you our customers.

Of course it would be best if you could come in person to see everything, but some of you have not been able to yet.
(Thanks to those of you faithful ones who have already been back once, twice and sometimes three times.)

These few pics are a peek of Sandy's new space.  Read about her new beginning A Fresh Page here.
We are so happy to have her!

I love how the chandelier is reflected in the mirror.

New displays in Amanda's corner.

Lots of black and gold and cream.

This cute little painter's box has already found a new home.

Don't forget that we carry these awesome
Linneas Lights
candles in our store.

This little cheese box is one of my favorites.

This little wind chime catches the light and sounds pretty when it chimes.

This beautiful piece was created using a tomato spoon!

These Lace Handbags are handy for many things.
I use one just about every day to bring lunch to the store.
So, this is a little tour of our store again.  It changes often.  Every week new items are brought in.  If you haven't made it over, we would love to have you.
