Knotted Rug Workshop

On March 15, 2012 we will hold a

 Knotted Rug Workshop. 

 This class has just two seats left. 

 The interest in this class has been amazing!

So I'll share a few pics....

These rugs are fun to have around the house to add a little warmth and color.

They can be made in any color.

I love the texture.

Some Favorite pics from TVB

As I go around the store and take pics for this blog, sometimes I have favorites.  This last time I ended up with quite a few.  So you tell me what you think.  Are they some of your favorites too?

I love white starfish. 

They are so fun to decorate with.

These items may not last long.  Things around here change weekly, sometimes daily.

This fun industrial cart is great!

Lots of pretty down-filled pillows to choose from.

A pretty etagere holds lace and vintage law books from the early 1900's.

Jewelry Workshop Report

Last Thursday evening we held our Jewelry Workshop.

The class was full and it was very inspiring to see all the beautiful creations.

So you start out with this.

A few tools are required.

Start laying out what you think would look pretty.

And then put it together.

Each one was different.

Vintage buttons being put to good use.

Shell buttons look nice on this one.

This artist chose darker colors.

This necklace is a nice mix of dark and light.

Silver was the main theme here.

Look at the cute heart button pendant.

It was a relaxing way to spend the evening.

The feedback from this class was very positive.

Our next Workshop will be for

Vintage Valentines.

This has been styled so beautifully.

Look at this handsome rooster.

And then there is the baby piglet asleep on his side.

Here is a frog painted a pretty shade of green.

A racoon would be fun to have in the garden............

I think I have shared this pig with you before. 

 He is still smiling inspite of a broken ear.  What a charmer!

 Maybe he needs a new home.........
