Vintage Sheet Music for Decorating

I love music.
I love to listen to it.  I love to sing it.  I try to play it.  And I love to look at it.
I think that it is very pretty.
 So, I decorate with it.

A wreath right in the center of a winter mantle.

Garlands draped through a pretty table.

I even like it with a summer mantle.

Different aged peices put together to make a beautiful look.

It's very pretty with ironstone.

Or with a chandelier and French chair.

Here it softens the tin backdrop and looks great with a bunch of chippy frames.

I even wrap soap in it.

These garlands looked awesome displayed in big glass vases.

They also look great just hung up, or wrapped around something.

I have a few other ideas I am working on.  I will share them when I finish them up.

What about you, Do you decorate with Vintage sheet music?

Trying Something New..........

I want to try something new.
For the next couple of weeks, up until Remnants of the Past, most of my post will be featuring the items that we will have available for sale there.  It will be kind of Miss Mustard Seed style.  Except that my photos will not look as pretty.

In a past post, wondering How Do You All Get So Many Comments, some suggested that I show more pics of what we sell. I feel like I do show you what we sell, but this will be different.  I will be showing you what is GOING to be available.  This takes a little more planning for me because things move so fast around here.  But here goes...
                                                Old Jars
Homemade Soap
More Jars

Little Tin Stars

More pics to come.  I am waiting for them to upload.

The Quilter's 60th

The quilter turned 60, so we honored her by having some friends and family.
We used all vintage, to set the table.

None of it matched, but somehow it all did.

Carnival glass goblets, mis-matched tea cups and saucers, cute cream and sugars, china painted tea pots, an old quilt, (hand pieced and quilted), vintage hankies as napkins, and scrabble tiles for place markers.

Homemade party favors from talented sisters. Lotion, soap, flower pin, and recipe.

We were happy to do all this for the quilter.

Parfaits with homemade granola and chocolate croissants.

Apricot cheese.

Scones and butter braid.

The quilter is our mother and we love her very much.  Check out her blog. wildberryranch.blogspot.com/
~Happy Birthday Mom~

Does this inspire you to use your vintage?  It doesn't have to be a tea party.  There are lots of ways to use things from the past.  Don't be afraid to mix and match, it looks prettier that way.
