Well it has been seven months now since I started writing this blog. It has been a lot of fun. It has been a lot of work. I do enjoy posting about the coming schedule for us bricoleurs, and sharing all the pretty pics from shows that we have done or our store spaces.
The question is....
How do you all get so many comments?
I know that I don't always have time to leave a comment on every blog post that I read, but I would like to hear more from you.
The reason for this is that I would like to know if my post are even being read.
Second, I think it is important to hear from you, to see if what I am blogging and talking about is of any interest to you.
Do you like the items that I am offering?
I feel that this will help me to better please you.
So, if you have time, please leave a comment, and let me know what you are thinking. The comments go directly to my email, and I read every one.
I look forward to hearing from you!

I read them!!! I love seeing all the neat stuff you all have. Wish I was closer!
ReplyDeleteI read your posts for sure, even though I may not always leave a comment, I do read them! Xoxoxo ~Ashley
ReplyDeleteOne of your longest running fans - I've known you all your life... It is a mystery to me also.
ReplyDeleteHey Terry,
ReplyDeleteI love seeing what you all are doing! I'll try to comment more!!
Love you
Amy
I love all your great ideas and will have to come by and see you sometime at Alameda!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Bellingham, Washington! I honestly don't know what the secret is . . . we have been posting for YEARS and get only a few comments every now and then. Yet--when I do shows--many customers say they read my blog religiously. It can feel *lonely* without feedback, but if your traffic is good, just keep on keeping on!!!
ReplyDeleteWe look forward to meeting you at Remnanats of the Past, as we will be first time vendors.
Your new friends at Ormolulu (please comment!)

I make it a point to read all off your posts and I enjoy every one! I would love to see more pictures of individual items that you pick up. Your blog is great! Someone told me that the more blogs you follow and comment on, the more readers you will get. That takes time I know, and I don't see how you do all you do as it is!! Keep it up... we are all enjoying it very much!!!
ReplyDeleteI read each and every post, but we don't have Internet at home, so I always have to use my iPhone which takes longer to comment. I really love your items, wish I could come shop sometime!!!!
ReplyDeleteI read them Terry! I even have you on my blog roll!! I LOVE the beutiful things you offer!! Xox, Diana
ReplyDeleteWhoops! I meant BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteOk.... just so you all know... we are the other Vintage Bricoleurs in the picture, on the right as you are looking at it. We just got home from a little shopping trip to Arizona, New Mexicao, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, So Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada. Wow!!! We left a lot of things we could not fit in our vehicle, but that is because we were so packed with other great finds! Make sure to come and see us at one of our shows soon...
ReplyDeleteIt's a mystery to me as well....I just always look at my stats to see who's looking and where my views are coming from. And I have to admit I have quit commenting on others' blogs because it seems like I don't get many comments:) so...I LOVE looking at all your items and watch to see what your newest finds are!!!!
ReplyDeleteI read them, Terry. I understand the frustration though. I don't get very many comments either. I often wonder if I'm wasting my time. It does take time to upload pictures and put a post together. I have wondered the same but have been too chicken to ask my readers if they're reading. Glad you braved it. Maybe I'll have to give it a try. I love your finds as well.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to see who is visiting your blog, you can add something to your blog called "feedjit". It's kind of like an app on your cell phone, except it's free. Go to www.feedjit.com, click on the button that says "choose your feedjit", click on any one of the three "sign up" buttons, make sure that the "drop down box" that's right to the left of the "go" button is on "blogger blog", click "go", click the gray button, then click the button that says "add widget". And your done!
