It feels a little bit like Spring here

I don't know if it the beautiful weather or what, but it feels a little bit like Spring here at
The Vintage Bricoleur.
I think maybe it is some of the soft colors in some of the displays.

There are pretty flowers in pots.
Kinda makes you want to head out to the potting bench.

This wreath is perfect for the coming Spring days.

This little green frog, potted plants, and galvanized bucket are all saying
Spring.

Beautiful pink and white chenille pillows cheer up the room.

The soft greens of this water color are wonderful.

How about a gazing ball for the garden?  Or some sea fans to add to a display.

On a different note.....
We had these at the Vintage Valentine Workshop.

Chocolate cake with cream cheese icing and raw sugar sprinkles.
(different camera setting)

All of the fun things that were used at the Workshop.
 Another fun night of creating.

Memories of a fun day Junkin' with Friends

The other day a group of us got together for a day of Junkin' in
Sutter Creek and Jackson.  I was with
 and Zelder Antiques.

We started our time at
 and Trish Everett.

It was so fun to all be together and to chat.  Some had never met face-to-face before and so there was lots of visiting, getting to know each other better.

Maria & Sandy

Trish & Zizi

Aimee treated us to this.

This made the day fun.

Beautiful display at Aimee's.

Mini Fairy Garden.

This antique plant stand was great.

The day was full of learning from each other.
Thanks Maria.

From Sutter Creek we headed over to Jackson and hit a couple of fun places.  The car was beginning to fill up with treasures.  We stopped and had a late lunch.  After a few more stores we loaded everything up.
It barely fit, but no one complained because it is fun to come home packed to the gills with great finds.

Don't ask.... :).

So, Thank You girls.  I had a fun day with you all.  Let's do it agian!

Are you looking for hearts?  We have hearts.

Take a look........
I love these sachets with vintage lace.

How about chenille hearts?

Here is a whole jar full!

This crotched heart holds a simple handmade card.

Hearts on cards, pillows, seals and vintage paper doilies.

These lace ones looks good hanging on just about anything like this chicken wire cloche.

Or this pretty lamp.

Let's not forget these wooden hearts.

So like I said, if you needs hearts, we have hearts.

Some Favorite pics from TVB

As I go around the store and take pics for this blog, sometimes I have favorites.  This last time I ended up with quite a few.  So you tell me what you think.  Are they some of your favorites too?

A pretty pink bird.

Wooden heart with black sand and vintage compact.

Old glove holder with vintage photos.

Pretty cameo necklace hanging on old books.

I love white starfish.
They are so fun to decorate with.

Don't they look great in this little wire birdcage?

This shabby table makes a great desk.

Here is a big urn filled with lace and rope.
(Most of these items happen to be Sandy's from The Olive and Rose.

These items may not last long.  Things around here change weekly, sometimes daily.
As more things come into the store though, it will give me a chance to try and get some more favorite pics.

Come on over to see more
