Valentine Workshop

On February 2, 2012 at 6 PM we will be having a

Vintage Valentine Workshop

 at our store

The Vintage Bricoleur.

Our Workshops are becoming quite popular and are filling up fast.

The cost for the class is $25.00

plus a $5.00 Kit.

You will be provided with all the materials to make some beautiful Valentines using a variety of Vintage goods.  Come spend a relaxing evening with a friend or two creating, visiting and snacking on some delicious snacks.

New Year, New Look

We spent a good portion of the New Year day and the next, at the shop making room for a new dealer, taking down old December decorations and bringing in a lot of new items to make the shop look new again for you our customers.

Of course it would be best if you could come in person to see everything, but some of you have not been able to yet. 

(Thanks to those of you faithful ones who have already been back once, twice and sometimes three times.)

These Lace Handbags are handy for many things. 

 I use one just about every day to bring lunch to the store.

So, this is a little tour of our store again.  It changes often.  Every week new items are brought in.  If you haven't made it over, we would love to have you.

Flower Pin Workshop Report

In my last post introducing the Jewelry Workshop I mentioned that I would give a report about the Flower Pin Workshop.  I think these workshops are going to become a favorite of our customers.  We already have people signed up for some of the next classes.  They will take place every other Thursday evening at 6:00PM.  It is a fun way to spend the evening creating, visiting and eating.

The ladies arrived just before six and we all introduced ourselves. 

 Then we got started.....

Laura the instructor had everything arranged so pretty.

There were several colors to choose from.

These are the four that I made.

I even wore one on my jacket the next day. 

 These pins are perfect for your lapel, in your hair or to embellish the top of a gift.

Oh yes, and don't forget the snacks, we enjoyed them very much.

I would say that the Flower Pin Workshop was a success. 

 We all went away feeling satisfied with what we had created and I know that I for one will be making some more of these pretty pins.

So if you missed this class, there are more to come.

We had our first class last Thursday evening, The Flower Pin Workshop.  It was a fun relaxing time of creating, visiting and eating.  My next post will be all about that..............

Vintage Inspired Flower Pin Workshop

It is hard to think about January already, but is is just around the corner.

January 5th is the date I am thinking of.

We are offering a Workshop on how to make a

Vintage Inspired Flower Pin.  Taught by our own Miss Worm aka Laura Strang.

The class is just $25.00, and it includes all the materials you need to make up to 5 pins.  These can be worn in your hair, on your lapel, on your purse or used as a gift topper. 

Come on down to the shop to sign up.  Invite a friend for a fun night out.  Seating is limited.

Winter Fire

We live an old Craftsman style house that was built in 1915.

One of the things we love about our house is the fireplace. 

 It is so nice to sit in front of it on a cold winter night visiting, sipping a hot drink or eating a bowl of ice cream.  Yes, we enjoy ice cream even in the Winter!

So pull up a chair and get warm...
