Vendors and their spaces @ Remnants of the Past~Part 1

This post is going to be dedicated to some of the vendors that were at the Remnants show.  I did not have a chance to take a pic of everyone, here are just a few.

The Vintage Bricoleur @ Remnants of the Past Fall 2011

We are home now after a whirlwind weekend. 

 The Remnants of the Past show at the Modonna Inn Expo Center was a great time of selling, seeing old friends, meeting new ones, a lot of hard work, good memories and the list goes on.

I have so many photos to share, but I want to start with showing you some from our space.  We had three spaces outside under a big white tent.  We loved the open air market feel.
 On to the pictures.

The truck and trailer are unloaded. Now what do we do with all this stuff!

This is how it looked the second morning.  It is hard to tell, but a lot of stuff is gone.

The pretty handmade soaps that my daughter makes.

The crew, Danny, Terry, Angela, Don, Coralie.

 (Missing Melanie, Don's wife, who worked all day Friday helping us set up.  She was home taking care of three adorable little boys.)

This solar water fountain was a hit.  The little cabinet sold first thing.

Lots of frames, mirors, antlers, metal and a sheet music wreath.

The letters sold just before opening, to another vendor.

We had a light hanging through our make-shift ceiling.  Wire and lace.

Moments before the show opened, the line waiting to get in.  If you have seen a layout of the show, then you will know that it was a LONG line.

A little French table and chair set, salvage architectural and old windows.

These letters were fun.  I also love those boxes full of old Pharmacy papers.

Awesome French doors, sound pieces from a pipe organ, and a beautiful mirror that went home with

Judy Watkins. 

We want to say thanks to Judy and her family for putting on such an incredible show.

Using Vintage for Baby Shower

A while back I had the privilege to help decorate for a friend's baby shower.

We gathered keepsakes that we had, and put them together. 

These baby shoes were my Mom's once upon a time.

These little Kewpie dolls belong to my Mother-in-law.

They are so cute!

I love the different expressions.

This vintage child's bike belonged to my husband's uncle.

I have a collection of these Eloise Wilkin Golden Books. 

 Baby Dear is one of my favorites.

Child's cup, spoon and fork.

A pretty christening gown on a vintage hanger.

We can't forget the delicious desserts!

  Ice cream sodas in a vintage milk bottle tote.

Take your pick of four different kinds of Cheesecake, displayed on my milk glass cake plate.

We didn't spend a dime on decorations, we used what we had and it turned out so cute! 

I love using vintage.

A Table for Remnants ~ SOLD

This table is going to Remnants of the Past, but it is already SOLD. 

 One very happy lady will be there to pick it up.

Beautiful natural top.

This one is sold, but lucky for you, another one is available with white legs and skirt!

Remnants Here We Come!

The truck and trailer are loaded and packed to the gills ready for the trip down south to San Luis Obispo.  We will leave as soon as the kids get out of school.  Here are a few last things that will be available.

A cute little WELCOME pumpkin.

Who will be at Remnants of the Past?

Will you be there?

I though that it would be fun to see if any of you readers are actually going to be at the

Remnants of the Past show this weekend.

(These pics don't really have anything to do with the post, Just fun shots of "things").

While the show is going on I am usually so busy, it is hard for me to stop and visit for very long with anyone.  But... I want to take the time.  I love to meet new people and to put a face to a name that I have heard before.  I also love for you regulars to come by and say Hello, even if it is really busy.

So... I thought that if you would leave a comment to let me know that you are going to be there, (even if we have never met), it would be fun!  Tell me where you are traveling from and if you have been to a Remnants show before.



 I will have a Guest Book/Mailing List at the show for you to sign.  If you have a blog, put down that info as well.  I plan to do a post sharing some of you bloggers.

Two more Chairs for Remnants

Once again here are a few more items for

 Remnants.

Two chairs that can be used in any number of places in your home.

Two different styles, both with different personalities.

Here is the smaller of the two, more petite.

Some of the back details. 

They show up so nice after being distressed and then a coat of wax put over the top to protect it.

Now for the other chair. 

 This one also has great detail on the back and on the legs.

Sorta like a pretty spider web look.

This chair has also been distressed and waxed to bring out the details.

She has a nice little grain sack seat.  I love those stripes!
