A New Look

YEAH!!!
I was contacted by someone that I admire very much to see if I would like some help with my blog.  I thought about it for about
1 second.
I am so excited!
So take a look around, she is in the process of making some changes, so some things are
"under construction".
So far , I love it!
What do you think?

Computer Issues

The desktop computer that I use to write posts for this blog is having issues.  So it has been several days since I have been able to get on and read all of your great post and see your pretty pictures and to do a post of my own.  I have some older photos but the ones that I wanted to show you of our day at The Candlestick Antique Show are on my camera and I can't get them off until I get a new cord adapter for this little laptop.  So, hang on folks, those photos will be coming.
Instead, I will share some pretty photos of past shows.
Old tub/headboard/footboard combo with flowers.
Look at those legs!
Yellow shrubs in vintage galvanized tub.

Galvanized bucket full of flowers on patio table.

Flat of flowers ready to be planted on primitive potting workbench.

Sweet Allysum in cute clay pots.

Are you seeing a pattern here?  Yes!  Flowers or plants in vintage containers.
I'll share more another time.

Our next show is July 3rd, in Alameda.  Hope to see you there!

I also wanted to say thank you to all of you who have gone to the Antique Trove and or Scout Living recently to check out our spaces.  Your support means a lot.

Until next time...

Roses & Rust Show Pics

I am just now getting around to sharing some pics of the Roses & Rust Show.  (Held in Anderson)  Even though they are a bit late, (the show was on June 5th), I still want you to see them.  It was such a beautiful setting!
Our view.  (before all the cars came)
The big barn.  Vendors were set up inside and all around.  About 70 I think.
Right inside the gate.  That's us with the six EZ-Ups. (including my parents)
The front of our space.
Workbench/island, twine, stool, hat box, french chair, chandelier, pillow, old post.
Dress form, farm table, wire baskets, industrial stool, mirror, books, primitive pine hutch with old ironstone.
Fellow vendors.
Bonnie from Lulafaye Home & Garden, the promoter of Roses & Rust.
Thank you Bonnie!
Stage coach rides!
And yes we had a pleasant rain most of the day.  This was a very common sight.  However it did not stop the 4000 plus people who came out to shop.
Next Roses & Rust - Oct 8th.
